From the ATL to the Fresh Coast We Got Skinny C, Grip Plyaz, & Icon.

Smooth, cause we don’t get upset, we kick a whole in the speaker, pull the plug and then jet back to Cypher Lounge Radio each and every Wednesday night at 7pm.  This Wednesday night, Hassahn Phenomenon and Dasha, the Divine Diva welcome two ATLiens and one fresh coaster. 

Coming try out of ATL, the fist up to bat is Grip Plyaz.  He stops through to talk about his new project, “6 Pack Volume 1 & 2: Purp, Wind, & Fire “and the Grip-Hop movement that is currently gaining a huge following in the dirty south and beyond. 

Also joining the party is Decatur’s own, Skinny C.  After putting it down at the Kevin Nottingham Presents showcase at the A3C Festival, Skinny C takes time out of his busy schedule to talk to the dynamic duo about his latest project “Nobody Famous Presents Skinny C 110.” 

If that wasn’t enough for you, the Fresh Coast Icon, that goes by the name of Icon stops by the Cypher Lounge to chop it up with Dasha and HP about his west coast movement and  how he has been a sensation not only on the west coast, but also around the globe.

Cypher Lounge Radio Recaps the A3C

If Hip-Hop was dead, then it was truly resurrected in the ATL this past weekend.  The A3C Festival went down like 4 flat tires on a low-rider and Cypher Lounge Radio was in the building, on the street, on the lawn, and everywhere else.  Hassahn Phenomenon and Dasha were live on the scene and they are back this Wednesday night with a special A3C recap edition of Cypher Lounge Radio.  The only guest on this week’s show is Cypher Lounge Co-Owner,  Kareem Fort as he drops through to add his two cents about the goings on at the world-famous A3C Festival.  DJ Mark One will still be holdin’ two the incomparable Six Minute Mix.  Make sure ya’ll tune-in this Wednesday and every Wednesday at 7pm PST to Cypher Lounge Radio!  Also, make sure ya’ll stay tuned to the site for the official write up for the A3C.

J. Ivy, Tahiry, & a BeatBox Hero Step Inside the Cypher Lounge

In a continuous effort to make it do what it do, this Wednesday at 7pm PST, Hassahn Phenomenon and Dasha, The Divine Diva welcome a poet, a model, and a beat-box hero to Cypher Lounge Radio.  This is also the last show before Dasha and HP leave Hollywood for a second to reek havoc on the world-famous A3C Festival which begins the day after at the Masquerade in the ATL.

First and foremost, Hip-Hop poet, J. Ivy joins the party as he comes through the Cypher Lounge to talk about his debut album, “Here I Am” and his current trip to LA. If we are lucky enough, maybe we can get him  to drop a verse on us.

Also joining the party is one of the most talked about models in the game right now.  Ms. Tahiry Jose will be bringing her sexy and savvy charm to the Cypher Lounge as she stops through to talk about her new website, new calendar, and her new-found popularity.  

Last but not least, Sid Patwa, one of the creators of the amazing new Beat-Bots Beatbox Hero application for the iPhones joins the dynamic duo to introduce this hip-hop inspired app.

Cypher Lounge Enters the Hall of Justus w/Dho, Rapps, & a King

Ladies and Gentlemen, please don’t late the smooth taste fool you, not unless you want to…Cypher Lounge Radio is back this Wednesday evening at 7pm PST with another dose of that feel good energy you have gotten use to. 

  • This week Dasha, the Divine Diva and Hassahn Phenomenon welcome founder of the Hall of Justus, Big Dho.  He is dropping through to talk about what’s the deal with the label, the industry, and what should the people expect at the upcoming A3C Festival.  
  • The dynamic duo also welcome Emcee/Producer Curtiss King as he makes his presence felt with his new project Jet Pack on E and Black Cloud Music. 
  • The party don’t stop right there becasue Kyle Rapps is stepping in the building to talk about his Analogic produced single “Love Love‘ featuring KRS One & Homeboy Sandman.

It’s A Global Takeover of Cypher Lounge w/ El Da Sensei

I don’t know what you come to do but Hassahn Phenomenon and Dasha are back at it this week on Cypher Lounge Radio with special guest El Da Sensei.  The Newark, NJ emcee is back with a new project on Coalmine Records.  Continuing with the Global Takeover series, El Da Sensei & the Returners is slated to release Global Takeover 2 -Nu World on October 12, 2010.  This week he joins the dynamic duo to talk about the new project, his trials and tribulations regarding the industry, and his upcoming performance at the A3C Festival in the ATL.

Dasha and HP will also be  talking about the upcoming TKE Fall Fest at USC featuring J. Cole,  The Ray of Hope Fundraiser for the Somaly Mam Foundation, & of course the latest and greatest regarding the A3C Festival.  Besides all that, you never know who may drop in.  Make sure you tune-in each and every Wednesday night from 7pm – 9pm PST for all the wisdom, ignorance, enlightenment, and mayhem that goes down in the Cypher Lounge.

Cypher Lounge Is Perfect Exactly As We Are

Its ladies night and the feeling is absolutely right this Wednesday night on Cypher Lounge Radio. With Dasha enjoying a lil vacay, Hassahn Phenomenon will be holding down the fort.  But not to worry, all you Dasha fans are in for a treat because this week we will be bringing you all the interviews from her coverage of the “I Am Perfect-Exactly as I Am” event that went down at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. Hosted by the intelligent and lovely Shaun Robinson from Access Hollywood and Ms. Manuela Testolini, founder of  In a Perfect World, the 1st annual event celebrated a notable group of extraordinary teenage girls. The event was designed to help reach a collaborative mission to empower children and youth to become compassionate, socially conscious and responsible leaders. 

With that being said, we will be bringing you interviews with Shaun Robinson as she dropped through to talk about her involvement with the event and her new book, “Exactly As I Am.”  We also have Manuela Testolini on deck as well.   If that isn’t enough, we are blessed enough to bring you interviews with Niecy Nash, Garcelle Beauvais, Monique Coleman, and Laila Ali.

Cypher Lounge…A3C Festival…Brian Knott…Kyra Kyles…Now That’s Hip Hop!

Say what, Say what, Say what…The Dynamic Duo is back for the first time as Hassahn Phenomenon returns from the Dominican Republic to rejoin the one and only, Dasha The Divine Diva to chop it up with Brian Knott. If you don’t know now you know that Mr. Knott is the CoFounder of the upcoming A3C Festival that has been going down the last six years in the city of Atlanta. If that wasn’t enough for you, Cypher Lounge will also be Shamrock Shakin’ it with the incomparable writer/columnist, Kyra Kyles, as she joins the party to discuss Hip-Hop, her role as the President of the Chicago chapter of the NABJ, and her reigning status over at the Tribune’s RedEye.
